Who you are agreeing with
What Baum is
Baum is an AI assistant that helps you operate accounts you own. You can ask it about your balances and positions, have it propose trades and swaps on your blockchain wallets and on a Robinhood account you connect, and ask it to watch public trading activity and tell you about it.
Baum proposes and you decide. Nothing is signed, swapped or placed until you confirm it. Baum is not a broker, a dealer, an exchange, an investment adviser or a lender, and nothing it says is financial, legal or tax advice.
Your side of it
You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live and to hold the accounts you connect. You are responsible for everything done through your wallets, your brokerage connection and your messaging channels, and for keeping access to them secure.
Do not use Baum for anything unlawful, do not try to break or overload it, and do not use it to act for someone else without their authority.
The Baum text messaging programme
Programme. Baum Notifications, operated by STABLE COMPANY dba Baum. If you authorise your mobile number, Baum replies to questions you text it about your accounts, sends confirmation prompts you must answer before it places a trade, and sends alerts about activity you have asked it to watch.
How to join and leave. Authorise your number at baumai.xyz/connect. You may turn notifications off there at any time, or by replying to a message.
Message frequency varies. Most messages are replies to something you sent, so how many you receive depends on how much you use Baum and on how much activity you have asked it to watch.
Message and data rates may apply. Baum does not charge for texts; your mobile carrier may.
Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel. STOP ends the messages. Reply START to begin receiving them again. For support, email m@trystable.co.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messages travel over networks we do not control, and we cannot guarantee that any particular message arrives, arrives intact, or arrives in time to be useful. Do not rely on a text message as your only notice of anything that matters.
A text message is a weaker proof of who is speaking than you might assume: a phone number can be taken over by porting or a SIM swap, and whoever holds the number receives the messages. Baum will never accept a private key over SMS. Treat your number as part of your account security.
How we handle your number and your consent is set out in our privacy policy.
Risk
Trading tokens and securities can lose you money, and the kinds of asset Baum can reach include some that are extremely volatile and some that cannot be sold again at all. Onchain transactions are irreversible. Market orders fill at whatever the market gives them, which may be far from the price you were quoted.
Baum can be wrong. It is software built on language models, it can misread a question or a market, and the fact that it proposed something is not a reason to think it is a good idea. Every confirmation you give is your own decision.

Disclaimers and liability
Baum is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any figure it reports is accurate at the moment you read it.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunity, trading losses, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Baum.
Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
